Important Dates
- Last day to request mail-in ballot: Thursday, October 24
- First day of early voting: Saturday, October 26
- Last day of early voting: Saturday, November 2
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 5
Vote in Person
Identification
All voters are required to bring a current and valid identification that includes your photo and signature. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Florida driver’s license
- United States Passport
- Student or military identification

Early Voting
Early voting begins on October 26. The last day of early voting is November 2.
Each county has their own schedule of days when early voting is available during this period. Find your county’s schedule on the webpage here: dos.fl.gov/elections/for-voters/voting/early-voting-and-secure-ballot-intake-stations/
On Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Polling places are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, local time. This is the last day to vote!

Vote by Mail (Absentee)
Voting by mail is an option that any voter can use if they do not want to vote in person. If you want to vote by mail, you must request a ballot from your Supervisor of Elections office.

Requesting a Ballot
The last day to request a vote by mail ballot is October 24. You have 4 options to request a vote by mail ballot:
- Download a mail-in ballot request form, print the form, fill the form out, and mail the form to your county’s Supervisor of Elections.
- Request a form in person at the Supervisor of Elections office.
- Request a form by phone by calling the Supervisor of Elections office.
- Request online using the Supervisor of Elections website.

Returning a Ballot
There are two ways to return a mail ballot.
- Mail your finished ballot to your county Supervisor of Elections. The ballot must be received, regardless of postmark date, by the Supervisor of Elections’ office no later than 7:00 pm local time on Election Day, November 5.
- Bring your finished ballot to a secure drop box at Supervisor of Elections’ offices by 7:00 pm local time on Election Day.
