Julie Ma
Director of Finance and Administration
Julie Ma (she/her/hers) is the Director of Finance and Administration at NAPAWF, bringing over two decades of experience in both nonprofit and private sectors. She is passionate about advancing equity within organizations serving marginalized communities and is excited to contribute to NAPAWF’s mission of empowering AAPI women and girls.
Before joining NAPAWF, Julie was the Director of Strategy at the Korean American Family Service Center in New York, where she led efforts to prevent domestic violence, sexual assault, and relationship abuse. Prior to that, she spent over a decade at the International Network for Public Schools as Director of Finance and Operations, overseeing financial operations, IT, and human resources, building sustainable infrastructure, and leading DEI initiatives while advocating for multilingual learners in policy efforts.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and International Business from Pace University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Baruch College, where she completed study abroad programs in Chengdu, China, and Singapore.
Born in Xinhui, Guangdong, China, Julie now resides in Brooklyn, NY, where she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.
