Ayketa Iverson has over 20 years of experience working in the labor movement, organizing, politics, civic engagement, community service, recruitment, and human resources. 14 of those years were spent with the AFL-CIO advancing progressively in roles that include (most recently) being National Recruitment Coordinator for the Organizing Institute.

Ayketa transitioned in October 2017 to work for the Minority Caucus Whip Carolyn Hugley in the Georgia state House of Representatives. She worked for the Othering and Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley as the National Civic Engagement Coordinator. She managed several projects with organizations in several key states that work on civic engagement year-round. Before coming to work at NAPAWF, she was the Senior Business Representative for the Central Region. Ayketa now serves as the Managing Director of Field Operations at NAPAWF.
