Letter of Support for Lucy Koh

On September 8, 2021, President Biden announced his nomination of Lucy Koh to the US Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit. Judge Koh’s expansive career demonstrates her strong qualifications to sit on the federal bench, and NAPAWF supports her nomination. We sent this letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee strongly urging them to confirm Lucy Koh.

Judge Koh’s nomination is a testament to the importance of building a federal bench that reflects our diversity as a country. Only 10 AAPIs actively serve on the appellate bench, out of the 179 judgeships in the Courts of Appeals.
