Today, President Biden announced his intent to nominate Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court of the United States. If confirmed, Judge Jackson would be the first Black woman Supreme Court justice. Sung Yeon Choimorrow, Executive Director of National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) released the following statement:

Judge Jackson’s historical nomination is a meaningful step to ensuring that the highest court in the land is closer to reflecting the diversity of our country and NAPAWF.”
