30 Years of Power. And We’re Just Getting Started.
From 100 founding sisters to a national movement, NAPAWF is building power for AAPNHI women and gender-expansive people to shape our futures.
It Started With 100 Women.
In 1996, a group of 100 women came together to build a national home for the voices, leadership, and power of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander women.

Thirty years later, that vision has grown into a nationwide movement advancing reproductive justice, immigrant rights, and economic security for AANHPI women and gender-expansive people, who had been largely excluded from national conversations.
We’ve gone from being invisible in policy conversations to shaping them.
