We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision will be listed at the top of the Policy. We encourage you to check this page each time you visit our website so that you will know if the Policy has changed since you last visited the site. Your use of our website indicates your acceptance to be bound by the terms of the Privacy Policy in effect as of the date of your use. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of the Privacy Policy, do not use our website.
Our Collection of Personal Information
We do not collect personally identifiable information about individual users unless a user voluntarily provides such information to us. We store any information that you provide, such as your name, mailing address or email address, using servers secure under standards of reasonable business practice. We may share your information with third party vendors who use your information for the sole purpose of fulfilling your request (e.g., charging your donation). Each of our vendors has agreed to keep your information confidential from disclosure to others.
In addition, we will cooperate with law enforcement, which may include disclosing some of your personal information if necessary. We will never sell any of your personal information to any third party, and we will never post any of your personal information online without your consent.
Use of Cookies, Tracking Pixels, and similar technologies
“Cookies” are small text files that facilitate a user’s access to and use of a website and allow a website operator to track usage and behavior with respect to its sites. A “Tracking Pixel” is a tiny, transparent graphic image that is placed on a web page and, in combination with a cookie, allows us to collect information regarding the use of the web page that contains the tracking pixel.
We use these technologies that automatically collect certain non-personal information about visitors to our websites, such as the browser and type of computer you are using, the website that referred you to us, the pages you view and the date and time that you view those pages. We collect this information on an aggregate basis, which allows us to improve our websites to make them more useful to our users. We do not use any of this information on an individual basis.
Protecting Children’s Privacy
We are concerned about the safety and privacy of children online. Therefore, we do not and will not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13. It remains possible, however, that we may receive information given to us by or pertaining to children under 13. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will promptly either obtain parental consent or delete the information from our servers. If you want to notify us of our receipt of information by or about any child under 13, please email us at info@napawf.org.
Security
You may be able to purchase items or donate money via our websites. Transactions through SalsaLabs use CardPointe’s CardSecure protection to process online transactions. Transactions through EveryAction use Paragon Payment Solutions to process online transactions. We have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information within our control. Only employees with a need to know certain information to perform a specific task are granted access to personally identifiable information of our users. In addition, the servers that store sensitive information are kept in a secure environment.
Emails
You may sign up to receive email communications from us. These emails provide information that we think will be of interest to you, for example, information about new features or content on our sites, or calls for action on certain social justice issues. You can always “opt out” of receiving our online communications by following the unsubscribe directions on any of the emails, by adjusting your user settings at napawf.org/settings, or by sending us an email at engage@napawf.org asking that we delete you from our subscriber list.
Please recognize that emails are not secure against interception. Therefore, please do not send us sensitive or personal information via email.
