From March 8th to April 9th, more than 1,500 women in 36 states, Washington, DC and Mexico City are fasting with We Belong Together to show Congress that women are hungry for immigration reform.

We Belong Together is an initiative of the National Domestic Workers Alliance and the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum, with the participation of women’s organizations, immigrant rights groups, children, and families across the country.

ACT. FAST: Women’s Fast for Families is a month of cross-country action to bring a comprehensive immigration law to the finish line and to stop the epidemic of deportations.

More than 70 organizations and hundreds of women in more than 36 U.S. states and Mexico are taking part. These organizations and women together represent networks of literally millions of women who themselves represent part of the nearly 70% of women nationwide who support immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship.

Women are taking action to say: House Republicans give us a vote on a fair reform bill now! Obama administration we say not one more — stop deportations for all 11 million undocumented immigrants!

The ACT FAST month of actions began on March 8th — International Women’s Day.  On March 9th, 50 AAPI women from NAPAWF Chapters all over the country joined the fast and on April 7th, 8th and 9th, NAPAWF will be in DC to close out the month with a powerful 48-hour fast.
