Whose body is at stake? Sacramento says…!

All too often, womyn’s bodies are depicted as sites of violence and victimization; narratives created by someone else that remove our humanity, our diversity, and our agency. In making this video, the sisters of NAPAWF*Sacramento wanted to collect the real voices of womyn of different age groups, experiences, and backgrounds. This video seeks to express not only the complex and unique struggles we have undergone as API womyn, but also the power that we develop and maintain as we overcome adversity. Our bodies are not crime scenes, they are beautiful, strong, and they are ours.
