Miriam arrived at UConn on the evening of September 15th to a packed room.

Washington, DC | June 24, 2009 | The National Coalition for Immigrant Women's Rights (NCIWR), which NAPAWF co-chairs, hosted a Congressional briefing on "The Impact of Immigration Enforcement on Women and Families." Congressman Mike Honda, Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey and Congresswoman Lucille Royball-Allard commented on the need for immigration reform and improvements to the immigration detention system.

Rutgers University | February 19, 2009 | We are honored that Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority has chosen NAPAWF to be its national philanthropic organization for nearly a decade. The Rutgers University chapter of Kappa Phi Lambda held an event called Kappa*Noodle on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009. This fun evening featured all-you-can-eat noodles and an auction, with the proceeds benefiting NAPAWF.
Memorial Union gallery | UC Davis | April 17, 2007 | The UC Davis CYWC students' social action campaign culminated in an opening reception and art exhibit. The exhibit, entitled “Speak Out: Asian Pacific Islander Youth Voices in Art,” was a collaboration between CYWC, Orange County Asian Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA), and community API artists and allies. For the exhibit, the CYWC students showcased their collaborative community art project, “Reproductive Health: Through Our Eyes,” featuring 80 art panels symbolizing the reproductive health stories of the community.
