It's that time of the year where donning hot pink and mismatched primary colors becomes socially acceptable practice again! Celebrate with our LGBTQ community this coming weekend and march in solidarity for our queer and trans API sisters!
We'll be participating at a few of the events below but hoping to gather as an organized group at:

Join the API Wellness Center and other community organizations to represent the Asian and Pacific Islander community for this year's Pride Parade March. Past participating organizations and individuals include API Equality, APIQWTC, Former Grand Marshal Helen Zia and partner Lia Shigemura, NAPAWF Bay Area and others.
SF Pride Parade Pavillion
2011 marks the 41st anniversary of the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade. The theme is "In Pride We Trust" and the event will be held over the weekend of June 25 and 26, 2011. With over 200 parade contingents, 300 exhibitors, and more than a dozen community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation. The two-day celebration is free and open to all.
The 2011 Celebration begins at Noon on Saturday, June 25, in Civic Center Plaza, and runs until 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, June 26, the Celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m. The Parade will be held on Sunday, June 26, starting at 10:30 a.m., traveling west along Market Street from Beale to 8th Street.
Volunteer with API Equality
API Equality – Northern California is a coalition of Asian Pacific Islander (API) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and Intersex (LGBTQI) organizations and individuals serving Northern California.
Our booth will be located in the API Pavilion (Polk Street and Golden Gate Ave). We are excited to see you all this Sunday! We are looking for volunteers who can help us work at the API Equality booth on Sunday, June 26. There will be reading materials, goodies and a "photo-booth" for picture-taking!
Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:
11:00am-1:30pm
1:30pm-3:30pm
3:30pm-5:30pm
