2013 Power Up! Summit

Join the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) for Power Up! – two full days of knowledge sharing, future planning and powerfully advocating for reproductive justice and immigrant rights for AAPI women and girls!

Power Up! is a summit for progressive AAPI women who want to connect with other fierce activists from around the country, as well as allies who want to help us achieve social justice and human rights for AAPI women and girls.

On Sunday, March 17th, NAPAWF will be hosting a day-long conference full of engaging speakers, workshops, and plenaries that will give you the freshest perspectives, research, network and skills you need to fuel the progressive, feminist AAPI movement.

On Monday, March 18th, join us as we take it to the Capitol to raise the voices of women in immigration reform. As part of March for Immigrant Women, an effort throughout the month of March organized in conjunction with our partners, we will be rallying with over 300 people in front of the Senate and hearing from women legislators and leaders, as well as women whose lives have been directly impacted by flawed immigration policy. After the rally, we will visit members of Congress to educate them about reproductive justice and immigrant rights needs of our communities.
