Over 380 organizations sign on to support removal of the five-year bar
Senator Menendez is expected to offer an amendment to the Senate’s health reform bill that will remove the five-year waiting period for legal immigrants to access Medicaid. You can see the letter of support and endorsing organizations here.

Success! Yesterday, an anti-abortion amendment introduced by Senators Nelson and Hatch was defeated in the Senate by a vote of 54-45.
